About Warren Sheets

WARREN SHEETS is an internationally-acclaimed interior designer whose extensive body of work is defined by a finely-honed understanding of true luxury. With consummate skill, he imbues this aesthetic into every design – whether in the clean, minimalistic lines of modernity or in the lush adornment of traditionalism. He is an artistic virtuoso who can render any period with eloquence, steeped as he is in timeless classicism yet gifted with a bold, modern vision. In close collaboration with each client, Warren allows a space to take shape out of their specifications while painstakingly rendering warmth and sophisticated grace. His expertise in antiques makes him particularly proficient at historic restorations and for uncovering valuable finds of notable provenance.

Warren initially studied theater arts and direction at UCLA and later graduated in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. He was working at an upscale showroom and design studio when his facility with style prompted a client to enlist him in designing her residence. This led to further commissions from an array of clients who clamored for his intrinsic panache. Through the years, Warren has integrated his theater background into his work not only in lavishing character and depth to designs but by formally unveiling finished projects with the dramatic flair of staging event receptions.

He launched Warren Sheets Design (WSD) in 1992, garnering consistent success that allowed him to expand and relocate the entire company from its original LA offices to San Francisco. For over two decades, he has overseen the vast diversity of the firm’s projects from grand residential estates and exclusive country clubs to high-end hotels and commercial properties. Along with his many responsibilities, Warren is also a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America, The California Historical Society, and San Francisco Coalition for Responsible Growth (SRG).
